Michael Norton is a fine art photographer based in Melbourne, Australia.

With over a decade of experience, Michael brings a unique vision to the medium of landscape and nature photography and continually strives to reveal the art that exists in the natural world. His passion for photography and the wilderness has led him around the globe to remote and unique locations like Antarctica, Death Valley, Patagonia, the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, the Atacama desert, the Cook Islands, the Amazon, and the Galapagos Islands. But he is most passionate about the Australian landscape which contains some of the most diverse and beautiful ecosystems in the world.

Michael’s style of photography spans a diverse visual range from traditional ‘grand vista’ imagery of the land, through to more simple, abstract and elemental compositions which highlight the inherent beauty and simplicity of nature.

‘I aim to produce beautiful, timeless art that can be appreciated by everyone – including future generations who will inherit the world we leave behind. My hope is that by seeing and experiencing these images the viewer can feel a deeper connection with the natural world that sustains us all.’

Michael’s work has attracted a number of accolades. Visit the Awards section for information.
